One aspect of this incredibly challenging journey in baseball is that God gave me the gift of appreciating it. 30 years ago, I didn’t know how to enjoy the game because I was too focused on making it to the pros. Now I simply give thanks for each day on the field. And then today I discovered my picture on the home page of the Houston Baseball Association website featured in a montage of other all-stars.
